Silicon Graphics, discreet new media and KINETIX, Autodesk Multimedia Division, present the winners of the "1^st International Dancing Baby Championship" on Friday, March 19^th 1999, 10:00 am - 11:00 am CET live from the CeBIT in Hannover on the Internet. Journalists who have interest in the subject and do not have the chance to attend the prize award, can follow the live activities here.

The championship takes place on March 17^th and 18^th in Hannover. During this event, the best European animation- and graphic teams compete in a 24-hour contest to develop an animation of 10 to 30 seconds with the "Dancing Baby" as main character. An independent jury will evaluate the results of this 24-hour marathon and elect a winning team during the press conference. The winner will be awarded a fully equipped Visual Workstation, Silicon Graphics 320 including Software by discreet New Media.
